		ISTE Students’ Chapter

		The students’ Chapter of ISTE, New Delhi is functioning in our Institution Dr. R. K. Pandey Director RIRT is the convenor and advisor of the chapter. All the students are members of this chapter and numbers of student development programmes such as technical quiz, paper presentation, poster presentation, EDP etc., are being organized. Guest Lectures on emerging areas are organised by inviting experts. State Level Technical Symposiums are being organized every year by this chapter. Students are being deputed to participate in state level and national level ISTE students’ conventions, technical contests and fashion shows organized by other Institutions and they have brought laurels by winning prizes. Every year, a best final year student is selected based on his overall involvement in the chapter activities and recommended for the “Best Student Award” awarded by the ISTE, New Delhi.

		ISTE Institute Chapter
		In the present fast changing scenario, our teachers and administrators have to be abreast of knowledge in latest trends and advancements in the field of Technical Education. In this regard, various staff development programs, such as guest lectures and training programs are organized regularly by inviting experts to our institution to share their experience. We have been conducting ISTE short term training programs for the benefits of Polytechnic and Engineering college faculty. Our staffs are deputed regularly to attend ISTE programs and Annual conventions. Faculty members are continuously encouraged to present technical papers at national and international level seminars, conventions held in different parts of our country.
