Title : Short term Student Training Progarmme by mechanical department RITS
Details : Department focuses on overall development of the students by imparting skills through industrially relevant projects, visits to industries, lectures from experts and authorities from within the country and abroad on various emerging engineering fields, seminars, group discussion, demonstration and hand-on working with machine tools used in industry such as lathe, milling machine, drill machine, shaper, welding machine, foundry, smithy etc. The aim and the objective of the Department are to make the student a complete mechanical engineer with employability in the industry. For obtaining this level of expertise each course is minutely scrutinized and wherever necessary the syllabus is appropriately supplemented by additional topics. Effective teaching is implemented through the innovative and interactive learning process with conventional learning mechanism such as lectures with audio-visual aids and lab sessions. The Department has also a Design, Testing, Consultancy & Research Cell to attract sponsored projects from the industry and funding agencies. For such activities the Department has established its reputation not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in whole of India and abroad. There is an excellent blend of dynamic faculty members in the department guided by a group of eminent and experienced professors.
